Another much-anticipated movie this year is "The Dark Knight", sequel to the ass-kicking "Batman Begins". Just a quick update, a new exclusive trailer (exclusive to whom? internets?) of ‘The Incredible Hulk’. This is a reset from the original Ang Lee directed movie. Click here to view the trailer. Here’s hoping that they will erase from my memory Ang Lee’s version, if you like that movie then good for you. With Eric Bana out, Edward Norton is the new Bruce Banner with Liv Tyler as Betty Ross (woohoo!). And oh Tim Roth (amazing actor btw) will play as the villain Abomination. WTF?!? Why??? Why did you introduce the villain already, your killing the thrill!

Oh well… *sigh* I just read the comic series World War Hulk and I couldn’t wait for this movie to hit the theaters. And oh, Neo and Agent Smith would like to thank you for using their fight during that last scene.

I am dying to see this movie - ok, I am exagerrating. But besides The Dark Knight, this is the film I want to see next year.

As much as I adore Spider-man - I collected some comics - Iron Man is one hell of a superhero. I mean come on, name another superhero that literally reveals their weak point? No one! Except Iron Man.

Yesterday I watched the movie Serenity. I’m pretty sure close to no one ever heard of this movie. It was released around 2005 and it was a sci-fi film.

The movie’s story was pretty impressive and it was visually appealing. Some people criticized the sci-fi genre for lack of imagination and everything in it has been done to death, but after watching this movie, it makes me appreciate sci-fi once again.

If you are into sci-fi or even not into sci-fi you should definitely watch this film. This film is like "a leaf in the wind", watch it soar.

Rating: 8/10 stars.

Well, I finally watched Thank You for Smoking late last night, and it was among the good films I have watched lately.  After so much delay I finally managed to finished it.

Synopsis

The satire-driven movie is a story of a man named Nick Naylor who works as the chief lobbyist of the tobacco and cigarettes manufacturers. As the chief lobbyist and spokesman for them, he constantly spins the truth about the real effects of smoking at the same time trying to be a role model dad to his son. It centered upon how a man redeemed himself from a seemingly disgusting job thanks in part of his closeness with his only son.

Opinion

After watching this movie you will get a realization just how much truth and lies are being thrown at you. The hard part is not about choosing the wrong one but the process of choosing which one.

One basic subtle message of the film is that of God being fair. He gives everyone the right to choose what’s wrong and bad, unlike some other powers in our society that thinks they are the guardians of truth, that what they say is the right one and resistance is futile.

Don’t settle for thruthiness! 

Definitely a very good movie. 4.5/5 stars
